Finding Digital Cameras With Viewfinders
The world of the small digital cameras is exploding. The reviews are in on many of the newest models for the upcoming holiday season and the top rated models are all going to be digital cameras with viewfinders. Having an LCD screen on the camera is definitely still something that the consumers are looking for. But with more and more options available on the small point and shoot cameras, the need for a viewfinder is up from years past.
Let's look at a few digital cameras with viewfinders to see what is out there and what are some advantages and disadvantages of either. The Sony W series still has optical viewfinders on them and seems to be very popular these days. The W series has a built in face detection ability which makes your job a lot easier when trying to catch that photo in a short amount of time.
Another great feature of the W series is called the "smile shutter" mode. When this mode is activated the shutter will be activated when the person smiles. This is a neat feature that really makes this line stand out from some of the others in its class.
Another force to be reckoned with is the SD Powershot line from Canon. They keep it pretty simple this line up of point and shoot cameras. But as far as digital cameras with viewfinders on them, this line up is just about as good as it gets. They offer high quality photos at a very light weight. The cameras themselves have many on-board features to help you make your photos as interesting as they can be. Whether you are going with a Canon, Kodak, Olympus, Sony, or some other digital cameras with viewfinders, remember to read up on them as much as you can before you buy. However, these days you will be hard pressed to purchase anything from one of these big companies that does not out perform anything that you are trying to replace. The outcome will surely be better, more efficient, and have a few more bells and whistles than anything you would have had in the last decade.
